Skull very short and wide, with relatively small orbit and supra- temporal fossae, of which the former is directed upwardly ; dentary border of palato-maxilla highly convex, and external border concave and iuner convex. Posterior maxillary and palatine teeth arranged. Hyperodapedon gordoni — Diagrammatic view of the left lateral aspect of the skull; reduced.
