NORFOLK (December 30, 2016) Chief Machinist’s Mate Wesley Hadley, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), kisses his wife after returning to homeport at Naval Station Norfolk. The Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group conducted a seven-month combat deployment to the 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operation in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
