The following have beenthe pastors of the Zions and St. Peters (Upper Pike-land) charge: Rev. C. F. Welden, 1842-50. Rev. J. C. Miller, 1850-54. Rev. William Weaver, 1855-64. Rev. Henry S. Miller, 1864-72. The St. Peters (Upper Pikeland) and St. Johns,Phoenixville, charge was of short duration. S. Miller served these two congregations from1872-1875. The Rev. B. C. Snyder, student atthe Philadelphia Seminary, was called and assumedcharge in June, 1875. He served until October 1,1881. During the vacancy the church building wasre-modeled and enlarged. In 1883 the Rev. J. P. Deckwas unanimously called to the pastorate and assumedthe duties of the same June 1st. During his pastoratethe debt on the church was greatly reduced and a par-sonage was built at Kimberton on a plot of grounddonated to the church by Miss Mary Ann King. was pastor for only one year and five months,but he accomplished very much in this short time. Heleft St. Peters to become pastor of St. MichaelsChurch, Germantown, Pa. January 10, 1885, the Rev. U. J. Klingensmith wascalled. The call was accepted and he
