A flintlock pistol, Durs Egg, London, circa 1810 Smooth octagonal barrel in 13 mm calibre with patent breechblock and barrel rib on the underside. Gold-lined vent hole and gold bands, the top of the barrel signed in gold "D. EGG LONDON". Engraved flintlock (the cock incomplete) with repeated signature as well as frizzen on rollers and gold-plated pan. The outside of the frizzen inscribed "D. EGG PATENT".
