Statue of Harold Wilson outside Huddersfield Railway Station, St Georges Square, Huddersfield. Wilson who was born in Huddersfield, was Labour Prime Minister between 1964-1070, and 1974-1976. Huddersfield Railway station was built between 1846-1850 in the neo-classical style. It was described by Nicholas Pevsner as one of the best early railway stations in England.
