Two graphite drawings by English Mormon artist Frederick Piercy, documenting his journey to Utah in 1853. One drawing drawing shows the 'Camp at Wood River' in present-day Nebraska. It is a variant or study for the watercolor painting of the same name also in MHS Collections. It was reproduced as a print in Piercy's 'Route from Liverpool to Great Salt Lake Valley,' published in 1855.
