Chemotherapy drugs. Nexavar (Sorafenib) and Sutent (Sunitinib) are both used to treat renal cell carcinoma, a type of kidney disease. Temodal (Temozolomide) is used to treat glioma, a type of brain cancer. Nexavar and Sutent are multikinase inhibitors. They work by disrupting kinases, proteins that are involved in cell growth and proliferation. Temodal is an alkylating agent, that damages a cancer cell's DNA, triggering cell death.
