A flintlock pistol, Ponsino Borgognone, Brescia, circa 1670. Two-stage barrel, octagonal at the breech changing to round after a turned girdle, and smooth bore in mm calibre. The signature, "LAZARINO COMINAZZO" is stamped on the breech. Chiselled flintlock with floral engraving (cock broken off) bearing the signature "Ponce Borgognio", and a heart-shaped mark "PVB" on the inside. Root wood stock, shortened during the period in use, with a horn nose cap and iron furniture engraved en suite. Length cm. Ponsino Borgognone, Brescia , documented for 1621 -,
