Head, thorax, and abdomen orange-yellow; antenna3 brown; wings dull brown to fulvous brown; a hyaline yellow spot, below base of cell; a small spot in end of cell; a bar-shaped mark or small spot below origin of vein 2 ; a small spot between veins 3 and 4, with a spot or speck above vein 4; the base of inner margin yellow. Hind wing with yellow patch below base of cell and post- medial spot between veins 2 and 3. JIab. Kashmir, Moore Coll., type. Exp. 28-30 millim. Genus EUTOMIS. Type. Zmj-owzzs, Hiibn. Verz. p. 122 (1827) minceus. Proboscis well developed ; palpi porrect, extending just beyond the frons, and hairy ; frons, vertex of liead and thorax, and especially the thorax below, very hairy ; antenna with short branches dilated distally ; tibise with the spurs rather small. Fore wing with vein 3 from before angle of cell; 4, 5* from angle; 6 from below upper angle; 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 stalked.
