Seville, the colorful streets of Spain


Seville at Night - Plaza de las Mercedarias by Andrea Mazzocchetti The square takes its name from the Convent of the Discalced Mercedarias, community established here since 1633. The small square was extended to consequences of the fire that underwent the Convent in July 1936, which ended with part of the building. The convent church is preserved, on the west side of the square.
