Star Inn at Dylife in the Powys hills. Dylife is a remote ex-lead mining settlement, which once hosted a population of 1000. It now comprises a few cottages and this pub, the church is demolished, and the small chapels turned into living accommodation. The area is surrounded by the remains and scars of its harsh mining past. It is near the Glyndŵr way, and a popular cycle route between Llanidloes and Machynlleth.
