The Haukelifjell mountains, lake Ståvatn and the E134 highway, on the southern edge of the Hardangervidda, Norway

The E134 highway crosses the Hardangervidda plateau on its way from Kongsberg in the east to Haugasund on the west coast. Here it crosses the lake Ståvatn on a causeway just west of the tourist hut of Haukeliseter, with the mountains of the southern Hardangervidda to the north. Ståvatn is used for hydro-elecrtic generation.
