GENERAL INFLAMMATORY PROCESSES 199 CERVICITIS AND END O CERVICITIS Non-specific infections of the cervix and cervical mucous membrane are, inthe majority of cases, due to lacerations that result in erosion or ectropion. Thissubject is treated in the section on Lacerations from Childbirth.
