HEART ATTACK, ECG
The electrocardiogram is a graphic representation of the electrical activity which precedes each contraction of the heart muscle. The ECG (or EKG) is obtained by placing electrodes on the skin in specific points of the patient's chest, ankles, and wrists. A line is thus recorded on paper or a screen. Here, myocardial infarction (necrosis of the cardiac muscle is visible).
