Lower snowfall than expected but showers appear to be forecast throughout the day. Outlook for the weekend is for further and heavier snowfall. Here in Staffordshire, Chasewater was looking beautiful as blue skies mixed with snow showers passed over. The windchill made for very cold conditions.
