Kjos waterfall at Kjosfoss on Flåm railway near Sognefjord, Sogn og Fjordane, largest fjord in Norway North Europe.

This mono photograph was taken from Kjosfoss railway station which only exists to view the waterfall. It is an autumn photograph and therefore the falls are more powerful with combined rain and meltwater than they sometimes appear. The Fl mbana mountain railway was opened in 1940 and is the third most popular tourist attraction in Norway
