The Blackstone Hotel, Chicago, Illinois, USA, 1933. Postcard. Designed by Marshall and Fox, the Blackstone Hotel on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Balbo Street was built between 1908 and 1910. It was named after Timothy Blackstone, a prominent 19th century Chicago businessman and politician. Several US Presidents stayed at the hotel in the 20th century.
