One of the original derailed freight cars at the Armoured Train Museum (Tren Blindado) at Santa Clara, Cuba.

The Monumento a la Toma del Tren Blindado is a national monument, memorial, and museum of the Cuban Revolution, located in the city of Santa Clara, Cuba. On 29 December 1958, Che Guevara and his small band of guerrillas derailed and captured a government armoured train carrying 373 armed soldiers, ammunition, and provisions. This action proved to be a decisive moment in the Cuban Revolution. Situated on the site of the derailment, the memorial park includes 4 of the original freight cars, an obelisk dedicated to Che Guevara, sculptures and the bulldozer used by Guevara and his men to derail the train.
