Goldeneye ducks exhibiting courtship displays in wetland area in London UK DUCK species have been captured arriving into the wetlands of London from Northern Europe on Tuesday 26th December. The Golden eye duck can be seen bending its head all the way back, as if doing a complicated Yoga pose, and finishing with a splash in order to impress the females. This is their time for courtship. Meanwhile, the Red Crested Pochard seems to be giving the photographer a death glare. These unique images were captured by a British Wildlife photographer, Talvinder Chohan, using a Canon EOS R5 camera with a 400mm lens. ?The lighting conditions were tough to work with, but the courtship behaviour of the Golden eye duck was so compelling and funny to watch I just had to take the images,? he said. ?There were several males trying to impress one particular female, and all took it in turns to display. ?I also loved capturing the Red Crested Pochards as they looked so quirky with their large red heads and their eyes boring into the ENDS
