South Landaff was at one time a thriving neighborhood separated by a range of hills from the rest of the community. Abandonment started perhaps 80 years ago and the last farm was given up around 1920. Most of the houses are entirely gone leaving only rubble-filled cellar holes to show where they once stood. 6 buildings are still partly preserved, of which 3 are shown in these pictures.
