A beautiful hardy perennial; with elegant Col- umbine-like foliage and masses of feathery white flowers in June and July; 3 feet $0 10 4306 Dipterocarpum. Though intro- duced some years ago, this beauti- ful species is yet but little known. We consider it one of the real gems among hardy plants, not only for the garden but its dainty, graceful sprays of flowers, elegantly arranged on stems 4 feet high, are invaluable for cutting; the flowers are of charm- ing shade of violet-mauve, which is brightened by a bunch of lemon- yellow stamen and anthers 25 Tritoma (Red-hot Poker, Flame Flower, or Torch Lily) 4330 Hybrida. The intro- duction of new con- tinuous flowering Tri- tomas has given them a prominent place among hardy bedding plants. It is not gen- erally known that they are readily grown from seed. The seed we offer has been saved from a collec- tion, which is un- doubted!}' the finest in this country. J oz., 50 cts 15.
