Dam at Seebe ghost village in Alberta
Dam and reservoir at a ghost hamlet called Seebe (Cree word for river). Seebe housed a camp for prisoners of war in the Second World War. Nothing to be found there these days, although the signs on highway 1A still point to this place. Part of the movie "Open Range" was filmed on the Stony Indian Reserve directly across the Bow River from Seebe when it still had few houses and a store.
