St. John, , March 23.—Prosecu-tions against retail grocerymen for un-knowingly violating the Scott Act mayresult if conviction is found against aMoncton grocery dealer, who was charg-ed in the Moncton police court last weekwith selling intoxicating liquor, thebeverage being apple cider. One witnesswas examined and said he felt prettygood after indulging in a couple ofdrinks of cider. The case was adjourn-ed for a week. G. E.
