He was postmaster in 1896-7, was elected alderman in 1878 and 1884, electedmayor in 1887 and re-elected 1889, 1891, 1893, 1897, 1899 and 1901, serving in all fourteen years. He is a mem-ber of A. MOHR, ALBERT, boiler mauufacturer, Chicaffo, was born in Chicago. Aug. 25. 1860. He Is the son of .JohnMohr. His education was received in the public schools of Chicago. He commenced bi;siness with CarlisleMason, afterwards entering the firm of John Mohr & Son. of which tirm he is now vice-president and generalmanager of their .south works.
