Village of Fiskardo, Kefalonia. Picturesque view of the fishing harbour at Fiskardo. This busy fishing and ferry port, is also a favoured tourist destination where visitors arrive by both land and sea. Due to the geology of the area, Fiskardo escaped the devastation experienced by the rest of the island in the 1953 earthquake. The village is said to retain much of its original Venetian architecture.
