Ynys-hir RSPB Reserve in Wales, overlooks the River Dovey
Ynys-hir is a nature reserve owned and managed by the RSPB. It is a fine mix of habitats, including oak woodland, freshwater lagoons and scrapes, reedbed and estuary. A wide range of bird and mammal species can be seen on the reserve including red kite, reed warbler, sedge warbler, pied flycatcher, wood warbler, redstart, otter, roe deer and badger.
