Macatawa Park and Ottawa Beach are separated only by the narrowharbor channel which connects Lake Michigan and Macatawa Bay. Aferry steamer makes frequent trips between the two landings. MacatawaBay, a body of water from one-half to two miles in width, extends inlandfrom Lake Michigan for a distance of six miles, and gives ample oppor-tunity for rowing and sailing.
