James Earl Chaney (1943 – 1964), Andrew Goodman (1943 – 1964) and Michael Henry Schwerner (1939 – 1964) American civil rights activists. They were three Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) workers who were murdered in Philadelphia, Mississippi by members of the Ku Klux Klan in 1964.
