The ground cannot be too rich; the stronger the ground the more delicate and succulent will be the leaves. Bloomsdale. A very early variety. Is hardy and may be planted for early spring use. Pkt. 5c; 1 oz. 10c; X lb- 20c; 1 lb. 50c. I/Ong Standing. An improved variety, slow in going to seed, and perhaps the best for general use. Pkt. 5c; 1 oz. 10c; % lb. 20c; 1 lb. 50c. Round Summer. The leaves of this variety are unusually thick, fleshy and tender. It is also hardy and may be sown as soon as the ground can be thoroughly prepared.
