Apollo 17 mission commander Gene Cernan, the last man to walk on the moon, looks skyward during a memorial service celebrating the life of Neil Armstrong September 13, 2012 at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon during the 1969 Apollo 11 mission, died August 25. He was 82.
