Clocktower Of The Church Of St George The Martyr In Canterbury In Kent In England


this famous church tower has origins probably from before the Norman conquest in 1066 and here the poet dramatist and alleged spy Christopher marlowe was babtised in 1564 while the whole church was still standing before being bombed in the Baedeker raid of 1942.
