The houses have been com- pleted and are now well stocked with snapdragons and sweet peas. Later to- mato plants and other bedding-out plants will be started. The firm has a big demand for these. The company's acreage will be reduced this season and they have a surplus of 50,000 good mixed varieties. The first contingent of Dutch bulb travelers have made their appearance. Among these was G. Krossel, represent- ing John Vendel, Hillegom, Holland. W. H. Swanson, representing the Al- bert Dickinson Co., Chicago and Boston, was a recent visitor.
