We found allthe people had gone toRichmond, with the exceptionof the women and old guards were placedall over the town and thepeople, from that time untilthe close of the war, weresupplied with rations by our Government. Like all towns inthe Confederacy, the hatred for the Yankee was quite of the oldest educational establishments, Williamsand Mary College, founded in colonial days, is here located;. LIEUT.
