50 Czechoslovak koruna banknote (1953) issued in the Czechoslovak Republic in occasion of the monetary reform of 1953. The Fraternization Monument (Sbratření) designed by Czech sculptor Karel Pokorný (1946-1950) is depicted in the banknote which was designed and printed the Soviet Union to keep the monetary reform in secret. The controversial homoerotic statue depicts as the Czechoslovak partisan passionately kissing the Red Army soldier in May 1945. Banská Bystrica in Slovakia is depicted in the recto.
