The arch of the auroral oval over Crawling Lake in southern Alberta, on the night of June 24/25 about 1 MDT as the aurora began to peak during a short-lived sub-storm. Some noctilucent clouds are also visible low in the north just above the horizon. The star Capella is the brightest reflected in the lake waters. The horizon is also tinted with the colours of the all-night twilight at this latitude of 51° North. This is a stitch of 4 segments with the 20mm Sigma Art lens at , each 8 seconds at f/2 and ISO 1600 with the Nikon D750. Stitched with PTGui.
