The Otterbem Glee Club AMONG the musical organizations of the school, the Mens GleeClub stands pre-eminent. For several years this organization hasbeen making a fight for its place in the sun and at presentbids fair to accomplish its purpose. During the past years the great task has been to arouse or stimulatean interest, but today the reverse is true, and every man must make goodbefore his services are excepted. This new life is largely the result ofthe activity of the director, Professor Spessard, and the efforts of themanagers. The club possesses a thorough organization, with a president andmanager as chief officials. Rigid rules and regulations are enforcedand an exacting business policy is adhered to. The strength of the club lies in its ensemble or glee numbers andnot in its individual work. Only the highest grade of music is pro-duced. The program aims to provide enough humor in its encores tomake it good-natured, but as main numbers such productions as TheInvictus, Men of the
