The spikes of large flowers somewhat resemble Gladiolus, being equally large, but, in colois they are far more brilliant, ranging from deepest crimson, orange-scarlet and salmon, to light femon. many beiag beautifully mottled and streaked, and showing grandly against the rich tropical foliage which seldom exceeds four feet in height. Heretofore these plants have been held at such high prices—seme of them as high as § each—that few but the wealthy could afford them. More detailed description* of these Cannas can be found in other catalogues, especi- alhj those of a year or two bach. Admiral Cou r bet — Flowers large, light yellow, striped and spotted with crimson; foliage pea-green; height, 3 feet. 10c. each. Alba Crandiflora (The Peach- bloom Canna) — This is the nearest to a white of any Canna yet originated, and was introduced two years ago for the first time. Flow- ers large, petals wide and pearly white, shading to pink in the centre. A combin- ation of color which is most delicate and charming, and unlike any other sort. 15 cents Capltaine P, de Suzzonl—One of the finest yellow-spotted varieties yet introduced, and in its habit of growth is entirely distinct from all others the foliage being very simi- lar to that of the magnificent Abyssinian Banana, of a light green color and attaining a height of about 5 to 5V£ f
