There is almost norelation between skin diseases andthe blood. Your rash is due to liv-ing in a room where the air is toodry. Put an air vent in the radia-tor in your bedroom and let steamblow into the air. Cuban Itch.—M. writes: I hope that you will give the public somedata as to the nature and particularly the characteristic symptoms of ahighly contagious eruption called sometimes Cuban itch; also some sug-gestions as to treatment and prevention. Eeply.—Cuban itch is smallpox. It came into the United States fromMexico about the time our troops were returning from Cuba. Some-one jumped to an unwarranted conclusion and dubbed this brand of small-pox Cuban itch. The Cubans tell us they never heard of Cuban itch. Cuban itch should be cared for in the smallpox hospital. It requiresno treatment. The disease gets well spontaneously in about ten then consists in intelligently standing by. Bath Itch Relief.—B. writes: I wish to tell you of my experience withbath itch and the relief I have had from it lately.
