A shako for an officer of the imperial-royal infantry, circa 1830 Tall black body with black needle felt cover, complete with wide surrounding gold braid for subalterns (lieutenant, first lieutenant), with gold rosette on the obverse, the visor with gold trim. The lid with black lacquer at top. Brown leather sweatband and red silk lining on the inside, size 56. Complete with original leather lacquer chinstrap. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age.
