Allahabad (India) : the Maha Kumbh Mela is a mass Hindu pilgrimage of faith held every twelfth year. It started on Monday, 14th January, 2013. About 100 million people should gather in the city of Allahabad, in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh during about 2 months celebration. Hindu clergymen as well as people coming from all over the world gather in this mythical place located at the sacred union of the rivers Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati The crowd has been attending the place since the early hours of the morning. 10 Feb 2013 was the biggest bathing day with about 40 million people taking holy dip in the river.
