Excellent for use as a medium crop, but most valuable when grown for the main crop, as the flesh is remarkably firm and solid. It is an enormous yielder, and as it is very attract- ive, always sells at high prices. It is best to dr}' these onions in a shady place and give them plenty of air. The bulbs are flat in shape and mature farly.
