Annabelle the Cow starts her journey to Las Vegas from the Old Homestead Steakhouse on West 14 Street in New York

Workers at the Old Homestead Steakhouse on West 14 Street in the Meatpacking District in New York on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 bathe Annabelle the Cow after removing her from above the entrance to the restaurant. Annabelle, who has been on her perch for 60 years, is going on a road trip to Las Vegas to appear at the opening of the Old Homestead Steakhouse in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace. The cow made its appearance as a gift from a Nebraska farmer who ate at the restaurant on twice a year trips to New York. The restaurant has been at its location since 1868. (© Richard B. Levine)
