Thofe two referable each other, are both taken from the Oak, and arcdiftinguiflied only in fome few particulars, the Scarce Silver Line hasits Superior Wings of a plain pea-green, with two ftripes of feintyellow, the Body and inferior Wings are of an immaculate the Common Silver Line is more variegated in its colour, having?a dalli of a paler hue between each Silver Line, and an orange orcrimfon border. The Scarce Silver Line is taken in July, in woods. Note, Fabricius appears to have changed the name of this Infeit inhis Spec Inf. for in the Syjiem Ento?n. he calls the common SilverLine Prafmana, the fame as Linnaeus does, which in the Spec he hasaltered to Fagana.
