Early Orange Marrow, or Orange Prolific Squash, as compared with Boston Marrow, has proved two weeks earlier and much more pro- ductive. The skin is a rich, deep orange, making the squasli of very handsome appearance. It grows as large as the Hubbard ; the flesh is very thick, fine grained and of choicest quality. Tha squashes are in prime condition from Septem- ber to January* when they will be found the most salable thai can be sent to market. Oz. 9c, % lb. 25c, lb. 75c. 1082. Marblehead. The flesh is bright orange, dry, sweet and delicious ; a good keeper, large and fine grained. Oi. 8c, % lb. 20c, lb. 65c. 1083. Improved Hubbard- Standard winter squash, very dry, sweet and excellent for table use, large size and good keeper ; more largely grown than any other sort ; has a flavor resembling a sweet potato when baked. Should be started early, protected from vine bugs. Oz. 8c, £ lb. 20c, lb. 70c. 1079. Sibley. This squash is also called Pikes Peak ; -it may be considered the only rival of the Hubbard. The two ripen : about the same time, while the Sibley is the most prolific and best keeper. Shell is a pale green, very hard ; flesh salid, of a bright orange color ; dry, fine grained and delicious flavor.
