The west entrance to the Norðfjarðargöng tunnel on Iceland Route 92 can be seen in the distance. The tunnel crossing the highlands between Eskifjörður and Neskaupstaður in Eastern Iceland is 7,900 meter long and is the longest tunnel in Iceland.
