Cotton Shutters are cheap and nearly or quite asgood as sash after the danger of heavy frost is are made by tacking cheese cloth over a frame madethe same size as the sash. These frames are easily madefrom planed furring strips. Cold nights the hotbedsshould always be covered with mats. In winter, shuttersshould be placed over the mats. Cut the boards the right lengths. 4th. Put on the Cleats. 5th. Take boards to the location. 6th. Arrange boards on ground near where theyare to stand. 7th. Set up sides and ends and fasten them together. 8th. Put in the braces. 9th. Dig out the bed. 10th. Fill in and tread manure, water and add fourinches of soil.
