Nakago with one mekugi-ana. With sujikai yasurime,inscribed: "Koa Isshin Mantetsu Saku Kore,Showa Isoshinoto U"(= 1939). Copper habaki with nekogaki. Regular army officer's koshirae with bronze mounts depicting cherry blossoms. Rayskin-covered grip,the hilt binding of beige cotton(slightly damaged). Field brown metal saya.
