Divers from the auxiliary salvage ship USS Salvor (ARS 52), Mobile Diving Salvage Unit One (MDSU-1) and the Republic of Singapore Navy teamed up for multiple diving, explosive ordinance, and salvage training exercises during CARAT 2002. CARAT consists of a series of bilateral training exercises involving the Navy, Marine Corps, and several Asian countries.
