The Famous Five Iroquois, who occupied almost all ofthat part of Canada south of the Ottawa, andbetween lakes Ontario, Erie and Huron, thegreater part of New York, and the countrylying along the south shore of Lake Erie,now included in the States of Ohio and Penn-sylvania.
