Christopher Kubas with the North Carolina 42nd Civil Support Team, conduct a security sweep in preparation for the start of the Boston Marathon, April 17, 2017, in Boston, Mass. Members of more than 20 CST units from across the country assisted first responders in keeping the marathon route safe for both participants and spectators.
